I am a community and ecosystem ecologist. I investigate basic research questions in plant ecology as well as applied science for land management. To understand the processes that control plant communities and ecosystem processes, I take an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach. General research interests include:
- Grassland and wetland ecosystems
- Ecosystem reclamation
- Biodiversity
- Climate change
- Range management
- Food web theory
